The quaint fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay, with its hidden cobbled streets and smuggling history, is just a 5-mile drive and the historic port of Whitby, 11 miles, is renowned for its ancient abbey and connections with Captain James Cook and Count Dracula, not forgetting its famous fish and chips! The traditional seaside resort of Scarborough, 10 miles, offers miles of sandy beaches, fishing and speedboat trips, the Rotunda Museum, Stephen Joseph Theatre and musical concerts at The Spa and in Peasholme Park.
