The village is located under 30 minutes from London Heathrow Airport with easy links to both London Paddington and London Waterloo.

Accommodation:

A luxurious romantic country cottage near Henley-on-Thames offering peace, antiquity and tranquillity to the discerning traveller. The cottage is tucked away from the main road in the village by its own private drive. But at the end of that drive - quite literally - is the best village pub you can imagine. Hurst is a very sought after location as it is the second largest parish in England but one of the least populated. The gorgeous English country cottage is right on the edge of the village with views directly out of the front door over unspoilt countryside.

This is a place with many happy memories for the owner who has lived in St. Swithins House, next door to St. Swithins Cottage, since 1990, and has owned the cottage since 2004. He describes the cottage as a place full of joy and magic, which he is keen to share.

The cottage oozes character - it is decorated with qurky 'hunting lodge' memorabilia and furnished with wooden floors, exposed beams, fire places and lots of comfy sofas providing ample chill out space for a large group on holiday. The kitchen is in the style of a traditional farmhouse, with a lovely cooking range and exposed brick and is fantastically well equipped with all the utensils and modern conveniences you need to enjoy self-catering for big group. This really would be the ideal holiday cottage for two families to share.

This Berkshire cottage a perfect place for a celebration too - although it has beds for 11 persons it can accommodate many more - 18 people have stayed here before!
