Terry Holt Cottage in Branscombe, Devon - 1 bedroom, sleeps 2

This cosy and newly refurbished cottage is ideally positioned in the centre of the lovely Devon village of Branscombe. Nearby is The Masons Arms, a 14th century pub which offers excellent local food. The village also boasts three National Trust properties; The Old Bakery Tea House, The Manor Mill and the Old Forge. All are thatched and within walking distance of the cottage so you have historic places to visit on your doorstep!

East Devon is a beautiful place to visit and has some wonderful countryside and coastal scenery.

This is a living, working landscape, which has been shaped by many centuries of farming activity. The rural way of life and market towns and villages of East Devon make this a vibrant community with many events from festivals and carnivals to fairs and markets throughout the year. The whole area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the landscape is characterised by intimate wooded combes, vast areas of heathland, river valleys and breathtaking cliffs or hilltops.

It includes the East Devon section of the Jurassic Coast - England's first natural World Heritage Site.

The coastline from Exmouth in East Devon to Swanage in Dorset has a wonderful variety of south facing beaches. In Exmouth there are two miles of golden sands, Sidmouth has a beautiful bay backed by red sandstone cliffs and Beer is renowned for its white cliffs. There is a beach to suit all ages and tastes and the area is ideal for beachcombers and walkers, picnickers and swimmers.
