Dorothy’s cottage is a beautiful red brick cottage in the historic seaside resort of Bexhill-on-Sea. Over a hundred years old, the cottage has period features, and gardens to the front and back. Bexhill-on-Sea is surrounded by the magnificent countryside and coastline of East Sussex, an area popular with visitors, with many historic villages and towns to explore. Local attractions include Bexhill Museum, Manor Barn Gardens, Battle Abbey, Firle Place, Lewes Castle, Michelham Priory, Beachey Head, Drusillas Zoo Park (a popular family attraction), and Charleston Farm House (the country retreat of the Bloomsbury Group). The area also offers opportunities for cycling, boating, fishing, golf, swimming, sailing, and riding.
