Nearby, you’ll find the beautiful northern fells for walking, Bassenthwaite Lake, with its stunning backdrop of the iconic Skiddaw, and Derwentwater for sailing and Whinlatter for mountain biking. Bassenthwaite is also home to The Lake District Wildlife Park offering a fun day out, and The Lakes Distillery with good food and tasting tours.
