Accommodation:
Honey Cottage retains much original charm and character and dates back to c1650. It has been carefully refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation and has everything you need to ensure you have a truly relaxing and memorable holiday.
The welcoming sitting room has the original Cotswold’s flagstone floor and an ornamental inglenook fireplace which together with the traditional furnishings, create a relaxing and charming atmosphere. A flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player and selection of CDs, DVDs, books and games have also been provided.
From the sitting room a stable door leads into the well equipped and spacious kitchen/breakfast room which offers a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment and a large old pine table and four chairs. To the rear of the property is a pretty, secluded, enclosed courtyard garden which is ideal for al fresco dining and equipped with table, chairs and sun umbrella.
An enclosed Cotswolds-stone winding staircase leads from the sitting room up to the first floor landing. From here, the bathroom and a very pretty twin bedroom, with two traditional cast iron beds, crisp linen and antique pine furniture are accessed. The stairs continue up to the romantic double bedroom with rooftop views across the old town.
