This pretty one bedroom cottage in the heart of Lincolnshire provides perfect relaxation, with a quiet riverside location and rural surroundings. Situated in 2 acres of grounds, directly accessible to the river, Witham Cottage is a fabulous place to go cycling, walking and exploring the unspoilt landscape of Lincolnshire. The cottage is situated just 7 miles from the lovely market town of Boston, reachable along the river path.

The Gilbraltar Point nature reserve is just over 30 miles from Witham Cottage - an area covering 3 miles of diverse coast with sand dunes, marshland and lagoons, and internationally recognised for rare species of wildlife.

The cottage is close to much of England's heritage - within 30 miles is the beautiful Lincoln Cathedral and the lovely market town itself. Peterborough Cathedral is just 40 miles away, and the Sandringham Estate is also just 47 miles from the cottage.
There are many other activities on offer from this wonderful holiday home - the Kinema in the Woods, a traditional picturehouse at Woodhall Spa that will transport you back to the 1930s - is just 12 miles from the Witham Cottage.

For golfers, there are courses just a short drive away. The cottage offers walking and cycling from your doorstep. There are also boat trips, fishing and many water based activities on offer along the River Witham. After a day's walking, cycling or exploring, the beauty of Witham Cottage will lure you to simply sit, with a glass of wine and enjoy the passing narrowboats and big Lincolnshire skies.

Accommodation:
This pretty little cottage set in 2 acres of ground is the annexe of a Georgian farmhouse, where the owners live. The cottage is completely self-contained - your own front door leads to the cosy and comfortable open plan living area which is immaculately presented with pastel decor, lovely fittings and armchairs you can sink into. It's kept snug by an electric log burner.

The adjoining kitchen-diner has a table and chairs providing ample dining space for two - perfect for that romantic candlelit dinner! The modern kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and all the cutlery and crockery you will need.

The double bedroom is furnished with a comfortable bed and beautiful bed linen ensuring a sound night's sleep. The en-suite ultra-modern shower room has ample hot water, a WC and wash hand basin.

This English country cottage is surrounded by acres of open space and enjoys a beautiful location right by the river Witham. It makes a perfect location for a weekend or short break for a couple or for those seeking a longer restful break in this lovely part of rural England.
